flower. Also known as the blue Egyptian lotus, Egyptian water lily and blue water lily, this
flower has been used as a natural medicine since ancient times.
Blue lotus is a discomfort reliever, a sexual aphrodisiac and it even has psychoactive properties.
There's evidence that ancient Egyptians and ancient Mayans used blue lotus. In fact, it was
found in King Tut's tomb and the flower is prominent in ancient Egyptian mythology and
Blue lotus still grows along the Nile River to this day. It's also found in Asia. It's believed it was
far more widespread in ancient times, when it grew in the Americas.
